As the News Literacy on Board project comes to a close, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey — educators, librarians, journalists, students, and our dedicated partners across Europe.
Together, we’ve worked to make news literacy a real and practical skill — helping individuals recognize truth, challenge misinformation, and engage meaningfully in civic life. ️
Over the past two years, we’ve:
Created 540 educational questions across three competence areas of news literacy.
Developed the NEED Assessment Game and the NEED Educational Board Game.
Collected a wide range of open educational resources in five languages — all freely available for classrooms, libraries, and communities.
While the project has officially ended, its mission continues. All resources remain open and accessible — ready for you to use, share, and build upon.
