Yesterday “Nikanor” Ltd took part in an online meeting of the working group part of the “Pact for skills”- “Pact for Skills in Tourism”.
The Pact for Skills in #Tourism is the tool for dealing with current and future challenges such as the lack of skilled staff, digitalisation, climate change and sustainability, through close cooperation between social partners, training and education systems and public authorities.
During the seminar, numerous topics were discussed, all addressing potential benefits for tourism at European or national-regional level.
As a successful recruitment organisation and provider of adult education services in the tourism sector, Nikanor” Ltd learnt a lot and important information in direction of improving the offered services and the overall qualification of human resources in the tourism industry.
The topics covered included individual training programmes to meet local and regional needs; the fast identification of new skills requirements in tourism, and the readiness for instant training before gaps lead to serious consequences.
