After the online meetings on the project NEED-NEWS LITERACY ON BOARD, the time has come for participants to gather for the first meeting in person, which will take place on 06.12.2023 in Sofia.
The team of “Nikanor” Ltd. will have the pleasure to welcome its partners from Slovenia- UPI – ljudska univerza Zalec, Serbia- Biblioteka grada Beograda and Turkey- HACETTEPE UNIVERSITESI in the representative office of its long-time partner- “For Our Children Foundation”. There will be made an overview of the project and the steps of its management and implementation.
The main aim of the project is to promote the acquisition and development of skills to evaluate information in an innovative way using game-based methods.
The game is a kind of catalyst of motivation, energy and knowledge, so the efforts of the partners during the meeting, will be focused on one of the target activities of the project, which is the development of an educational board game and the corresponding online platform for personalized game-based tailor-made education in NL&CT (news literacy and critical thinking skills)- both for the trainers themselves and for the adult learners/users.
On the day of the meeting Bulgaria celebrates a special holiday – guests will have the opportunity to experience the traditions associated with St. Nicholas Day – to taste authentic and thematic cuisine, learn about the history and traditions of the holiday and immerse themselves in Bulgarian culture.
