ACTIVATE aims to show that digitalisation can support craftsmanship rather than replace it. Routine processes can change, while the knowledge, creativity and identity behind the product remain in the hands of the artisan.
The goal? Helping artisans and small businesses become more resilient, sustainable and competitive without losing their identity. The project specifically addresses the challenge that traditional artisans may be reluctant to adopt new technologies and therefore focuses on showing how digital tools can automate routine tasks while leaving the craft itself intact.
