We were delighted to gather with all our partners this week for an inspiring transnational project meeting of the HEAL – Health Equity and Accessibility for the Deaf Community project. Learn more about HEAL here: https://projectheal.eu/
Hosted at Speicherstadt in the heart of Hamburg, the meeting brought together teams from across Europe to collaborate on the next steps toward improving accessibility and inclusivity in healthcare for the Deaf community.
Throughout the day, we:
✔️ Received a warm welcome from Open mind
✔️ Reviewed project management, budget, and reporting
✔️ Explored progress on WP2, including desk research, interviews, and the development of the theoretical framework
✔️ Collaborated on WP3 with brainstorming on the HEAL platform, website, glossary, and app design
✔️ Discussed dissemination, visual identity, and our communication strategy under WP5
✔️ Tackled quality assurance and next steps for the upcoming months
The meeting concluded with a recap and an inspiring guided visit to Dialog im Stillen, followed by a shared dinner — a great chance to connect and celebrate our teamwork.
