Amelia Earhart- the woman that inspires generations. Project Just Her- an example of good practices

On this day, 93 years ago, #Amelia #Earhart set a world record flying height of 5,613m in a Pitcairn PCA-2.

Amelia Mary Earhart was an American aviator, among the first female pilots and the first woman to fly over the Atlantic Ocean.

President of the Ninety-Nines, an organization created to assist women aviators, she became an idol of the early feminist movement. Through her life and accomplishments, she was distinguished as an activist in the fight for equal rights for men and women and, among her achievements, sponsored the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The relevance of the topic is still strong today- The Project Just Her Erasmus+ contributes to strengthening gender equality and understanding its historical roots, as well as being a bridge between adult education and other sectors.

The project aims to increase the competence of adult educators so that they can reach out to #refugee and #migrant #women, include and empower them, and improve their basic and language skills.

Because the brave woman, who remains forever in the sky, is a guiding star not only for her time, but for every contemporary person who believes in the power of equality and the female person.
